- Go to Settings or Account settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the deletion notice and confirm the request.
- Complete any reasonable account-ownership verification requested by Quta.
2. Delete from the website
If you cannot access the app, use the Quta website deletion resource at https://www.Quta.app/delete-account or contact support@quta.app. The website route should allow you to initiate deletion without requiring installation of the app.
3. What is deleted
- Your Quta account and active profile information.
- Personal data associated with the account that Quta is not legally or legitimately required to retain.
- Location information associated with active Nearby use, subject to deletion processing and backups.
- Messages, media or interaction data to the extent Quta is able and required to delete them, taking into account other users’ records, safety and legal obligations.
4. What may be retained temporarily or lawfully
Quta may retain limited records where necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, abuse investigations, child-safety obligations or compliance with law. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted under the backup cycle.
5. Deletion is permanent
Permanent account deletion is different from logging out, blocking a user or temporary suspension. After deletion is completed, the account may not be recoverable.
