Quta Child Safety Standards

1. Scope and age position

Quta is intended for users aged 18 years and above. Regardless of age-gating, Quta prohibits any use of the service to facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation.

2. Prohibited child-safety conduct

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including creation, possession, distribution or solicitation.
• Grooming or sexual solicitation of a minor.
• Sextortion involving a minor.
• Trafficking, exploitation or facilitation of abuse of children.
• Sexualised content involving children.
• Attempts to move suspected child exploitation activity off-platform to avoid detection.

3. Reporting mechanisms

Quta should provide an in-app reporting mechanism for users to report child-safety concerns. Reports should be prioritised for review. A public child-safety contact must also be maintained.

4. Response to reports

• Review reports promptly and restrict access where necessary to prevent further harm.
• Preserve relevant evidence where lawful and appropriate.
• Remove prohibited content and suspend or permanently remove offending accounts where warranted.
• Comply with applicable child-safety laws and lawful reporting obligations.
• Cooperate with competent authorities where required or permitted by law.

5. Prevention and product safeguards

• Maintain age-gating appropriate to the product.
• Provide Block and Report controls.
• Apply moderation and abuse-prevention controls to messaging, statuses and Nearby interactions.
• Do not expose raw location coordinates of users to ordinary users.
• Maintain internal escalation procedures for high-risk reports.

6. Updates

These standards may be updated as Quta features, laws or app-store safety requirements change. The current version will remain publicly accessible on the Quta website.
